"Reel 1 describes, by animation, the operation of an electron tube, battery, and motor. Shows an electric trolley and an electric motor. Describes the use of electronics in the manufacture of aluminum, in producing magnesium from sea water, in amplifying sound, and in cleaning dust from a room. Reel 2, an electron tube is bad as a generator. An animated diagram outlines the feedback principle. Plywood and plastic are cut with an electric cutter. Animation shows the transformation of current into light by photo-electric cells. Describes the use of electronics in welding, X-ray, and television. Ultra-violet rays kill bacteria. Reel 3 explains basic principles of radar. Antiaircraft guns fire; a plane falls."
